A panel discussion at Dallas Museum of Art
April 6, 2014, 2pm

The Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) is scheduled for April 3–13, 2014. For Tickets.

This panel will explore the racial memes, stereotypes and hurdles that exist in modern cinema, where films today are increasingly divided into categories based on race, gender and sexuality.

The discussion will also focus on how quality storytelling can transcend cultural differences and be universally enjoyed by people of all backgrounds.

The panel will be moderated by Jamilah King, News Editor for Colorlines.com.
